We're hiring for a Title Agent position.![]()
Work in a small, flexible work environment Monday – Friday from 8 AM – 5 PM in downtown Fremont, NE. As a title agent, you’ll be responsible for extensive research to ensure the legal sale of residential and commercial properties, help rectify any title defects, assist the closing department with title insurance requirements, type new and existing abstracts and reports, and assist clients with questions regarding real estate titles.
A successful candidate is personable, has strong communication skills, is accurate, organized, and has exceptional research skills. A background in residential and/or commercial abstracting is preferred but not required. A successful candidate should also have an understanding of basic real estate title and legal document concepts or be able to quickly learn them as well as how to use county and state online systems such as GISworks, NE Taxes Online, Landshark, and title industry software such as RamQuest. ![]()

Title Agent Duties and Responsibilities
• Verify ownership, legal descriptions, and restrictions by analyzing liens, maps, public records, leases, plat books, agreements, surveys, and contracts
• Conduct property search to check for real estate title defects or issues, such as claims, liens, mortgages, deeds, wills, or fraud
• Work alongside a variety of industry professionals such as real estate agents, title insurance agents, escrow officers, closing agents, settlement agents, law firms, paralegals, and escrow companies throughout the closing process
• Facilitate title search and prepare title abstract and title opinion
• Review all closing documents to be sure title commitments have been met, issue title policy, and prepare closing statements to transfer the title to the new owner
• Record all legal documents at the county and federal level and present deed to new owners![]()
Title Agent Requirements and Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Post-secondary degree (preferred)
• 2 Years experience with residential and/or commercial abstracting preferred but not required
• Must be detail-oriented, analytical, and process-driven with excellent communication skills
• Basic understanding of real estate title and legal document concepts or be able to quickly learn them
• Comfortable using or learning to use county and state online systems and title industry software such as RamQuest.
• Must have proficient computer skills and be well acquainted with programs such as Microsoft Office Suite

We're hiring for an Escrow Officer position.![]()
Work in a small, flexible work environment Monday – Friday from 8 AM – 5 PM in downtown Fremont, NE. As an escrow officer you will manage all escrow files, work with the title department, coordinate closings with clients, lenders, and real estate agents. Other responsibilities include ordering inspections, requesting payoffs, and completing closing paperwork for buyers and sellers.
A successful candidate is personable and has strong communication skills, is organized, and has exceptional decision-making abilities. A background in finance, real estate, or banking is desirable but not required. A working knowledge of programs such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is beneficial as well as the ability to quickly learn title/escrow software. Candidates should also have their Notary public or the ability to obtain it.![]()

Escrow Officer Duties and Responsibilities
• Prepare real estate closing documents
• Manage disbursements of funds
• Coordinate with sellers, buyers, lenders, and realtors
• Work with title department in resolving issues and clearing requirements
