About the Role
As an Escrow Officer, you’ll handle key administrative tasks that support successful real estate transactions. Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Reviewing Listing and Purchase Agreements and updating files with all pertinent information and fees
- Sending welcome letters to agents and clients
- Ordering necessary inspections
- Coordinating the collection of documents needed to clear and convey title
- Communicating daily with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, attorneys, and lenders
- Entering and balancing all transaction fees
- Holding and transferring funds securely
- Preparing and finalizing closing documents
- Presenting final documents to clients and explaining them thoroughly
What We’re Looking For
Our ideal candidate thrives in a busy office, can pivot quickly when needed, and enjoys working on a collaborative team. We’re seeking someone who is:
- A strong communicator with high attention to detail
- Motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn
- Able to multitask with accuracy in a fast-moving environment
Experience in the title and escrow industry is a plus—but not required. Backgrounds in banking, real estate, or legal document review may help you learn the ropes quickly, but we’re happy to train the right individual with the right attitude.
Position Details
- Full-time, in-office
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- 40 hours per week
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Excellent decision-making skills
- Basic computer and office knowledge
- Top-notch customer service abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Advanced clerical knowledge
